This morning we took a bale of straw out to Cousin’s Airstrip for the purpose of target practice.
We were also blessed with an abundance of ripe wild strawberries growing in the ditch beside the airstrip.
These things are tiny! Barely the size of my fingernail but packed with sweetness.
Brian was trying out his new recurve bow. 20 lb learner, very fun to shoot.
I think his elbow’s up too high. Not a bad shot though. Me neither. Wow do my shoulders hurt… Need more practice.
I’m kinda choked that they mowed down the ditch… That could have all been ripe strawberries.
